Often times, more than one cares to admit triumph unexpectedly hits. Such triumph is often described equivalent to turmoil or quicksand. A feeling or emotion you can’t evade. Just like the expression “a thief in the night” sweeping through at the most vulnerable times, causing havoc, and unexpected commotion. These precise emotions immediately enclosed upon me on the very day of August 15, 2021. On this day, I unexpectedly lost my father to novel coronavirus. Time is deceptive I thought we had forever.

To my father:

It is humanly impossible to mention you, my sanctuary without mentioning a powerful vessel, honorable, with undeniable integrity. The English language is too premature to articulate and illustrate my love for you. Nevertheless, I speak with the highest honor in regard to you. You’ve always been my greatest teacher; you taught me how to do everything except live without you. You’ve lived without me, but I’ve never lived without you, yet here I am by force. I remember every lesson, all conversations, even the consequences. The discussions about resilience and fear are why I stand tall for you. Your spirit always shifts the atmosphere. Today however, as I write and navigate my own story I would like to formally honor and dedicate this business, my business, our business to you … LMG Legacy The Aftermath!
